Martin D. Perkins is a veteran legal professional with an extensive background in public service, municipal law, and economic development. A graduate of Alcorn State University and Southern University Law Center, Martin began his career as the first Policy Analyst for the Jackson, MS City Council in 2002, later serving as Director of Constituent Services and County Attorney for Hinds County.

His public service extended to the bench as an Ad Hoc Youth Court Judge, where he addressed juvenile justice matters with care and integrity. In the private sector, he led D Plug Software in Miami, innovating in cannabis delivery through tech-based solutions.

Now retired from legal practice, Martin serves as Vice President of Legal and Compliance at IDC, where he focuses on international trade, development, and legal strategy for global initiatives.
